Play the Fangames.
Both hopeless and pointless are extremely well made and I actually enjoyed them both more than the real sequel (although it somehow concludes everything).
Be wary though, Pointless' difficulty level is sometimes beyond fairness

Not that anon, but honestly a huge part of LISA's charm for me was recruiting party members. I loved seeing how the post-apocalypse twisting these men into fighters, storytellers, wrestlers, furries, and fucking Sentai warriors. It would be cool to see another game with a far greater emphasis on collecting and interacting with them, especially since Joyful dropped that aspect completely.
