Really uninteresting character building. Level upping for warriors usually means getting few points in health and abilities that are boring percentages.

Also, sequels have weak beginnings. Shadows of Amn has annoying dungeon and Throne of Bhaal starts with freaking time stopping wizard.

Ok cool, ill pick it up, I have played BG1 for about 5hrs on my tablet and don't want to buy it again, I do enjoy it although the touch screen controls are serviceable although quite obviously sub par. Also combat wise I may be missing something but I've often just save scummed until my party somehow don't die and kill the enemy, at this point there doesn't seem to be much options for strategy, just auto attack, I also don't see much point in allowing one of the party perma die in these circumstances especially since it's so early in the game I don't even know much about them.

Speaking off of this, I found that BG1 handled the pure class/multi class balance a little better than BG2 if only because leveling up faster means you spend less time in pitiful low level D&D. On top of that, the level cap in 1 means that multi-classes may not get the same tools single classes get at the end, such as multi-class mages not getting Level 5 spells.
