Monk presses buttons faster than Dragoon, their goal is to always move around to hit positional attacks to maintain greased lightning 3.

Dragoon attacks slower, but their attacks have a more bursty feel. You also have a bit more mobility than Monk by having jump skills. The endgame of Dragoon is to balance a meter by doing as much damage as possible.
