Metroid Prime 4

I'd love them to go full Flash with time travel, why not mechanics where if you do things in the past, it creates differences in the future and so you can access new areas. Could be fun if it doesn't involve too much backtracking.

What I want out of a Metroid Prime game is ultimately the feeling I got playing Prime 1 and somewhat playing Prime 2 when they came out and I was 13.

A sense of isolation, being surrounded by large, erie environments full of scannable lore, and the typical 0 to hero Metroid style powerup game.

If they simply remade Metroid Prime 1 I'm sure it wouldn't be enough to compete with modern games, but whatever they do I hope it recreates those feelings from the first two, which themselves were reflections of the original NES/SNES games translated to 3D.

I don't think that Retro Studios can do a second time what they did with Prime 1. Prime 2 and 3 have qualities but they are nowhere as good as the first one so whatever ?

I think that a japanese team could do a great job with the game... If it was a western team I would anxious about it.

That this is only the start of a new era of Metroid. I don't think we'd neccesarily need Prime 5 and Prime 6, but maybe a continuation of Fusion. I'd also love if we get both 3D and 2D Metroids.

That the new team can not hold a candle to the art direction Retro Studios had. They don't need to top Retro, but they should be at least 90% there, otherwise I might be dissappointed.
