I've got 3 top tips for you.

1) run past every enemy, you won't get touched.

2) for boss battles hit once, wait for the blatantly obvious slow attack they do which takes about 10 seconds to recover from, then hit again. Rinse repeat. This works for every single boss or enemy in the game.

3) if you can't be bothered with the slow tedium of tip 2), just summon 2 people to do anything remotely difficult for you - that's not even a joke, this is an actual core game mechanic.

The game is inherently beyond simple. Using tips 1 and 2, I platinumed the entire game in 10 days.

story chalice dungeons are legitimately the worst thing From Software has ever put in any of their Souls/Bloodborne style games.
