You can always see where Friede is jumping during her Nothing Personnel move, use it to your advantage.
Don't be overaggresive when fighting Big Daddy and just punish him when he performs one of his long ass attacks.
I can't help you with 3rd phase because I don't even fucking know how I managed to kill her with my katana. I can only say you can dodge her Edgy Dark Energy Jumping attack by running towards her.

Use a big shield that has good magic block to punish Friede during her PSH nothing personal phase 3
Mostly focus on the big guy for phase 2. He takes more damage and you can out DPS friede's healing.

For the first phase just look at the ground closely whenever friede goes full coldsteel and *teleports away from you*, go where you saw her steps, backstab her.

For phase 2 just ignore friede and dodge her ice cream AoE, whack the old man. When your hear the audio clue of friede going in stealth, whoop her ass then go back to Ariandel

Phase 3 is an absolutely bitch, use all the items you can and spam rolls

You should be able to beat all but the final boss in Ashes solo, also Halflight in Ringed City, but don't feel bad if you can't beat Gael and Midir.

They are the worst bosses in the series, and the definition of artificial difficulty (don't bother summoning for them either it just gets worse with their inflated health bar, just try to tough it out.

Ringed City is by far the worst DLC Fromsoft has ever put out, it's DS2 main game level of shit.
