PC version is literally the PSX version, there's guides to get it to run in 1080p and widescreen, and you can map controls to a controller using xpadder or similar, but you still have unfiltered textures and IIRC there was still lack of perspective correction. Ran without issues on Win7 last time I played it.

DC emulation is a mess, though if you want to give that a shot go ahead, costs nothing to try.

Check out miniLAW, it's a 2D Judge Dredd simulator. It's in EA, but it's down to $4 right now and the game is enjoyable in its current state.

A couple tips:
Don't try to KO or scare every bad guy, it's preferable to kill a perp and miss out on some req there rather than getting all dinged up and paying out the ass for suit repairs

Rebind the keys, the default control system is kind of ass. You can't do this in game, only from the main menu.

Don't listen to the memes. MuvLuv is terrible and I finished EVERY game in the trilogy and did every routes only to find out I didn't like it at the end.

I expected some sort of plot revelation at the end that made it all worthwhile but it was just an abomination that sucks dick.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is great shooter, great short story mode and a shit ton of replayability doing challenges and replaying chapters, definitely worth the price if you like arcade fps and revolvers

Buy the base game but pirate the DLC. Buying the base game at least gives the studio an indication that it has an interested community and playerbase so that they should invest into new sequels. But buying DLC just extends how long they'll delay before making a new entree in the series. Thus keep using old systems which could be improved upon with new engines etc.

Depends on what kind of person you are. If you just want "comfy" simple shounen anime games that are lightweigth then delete Nier.

If you actually expected some games with substance while coincidentally having an anime aesthetic then only keep Nier since games like agarest don't have any real substance.

All-in-all Nier is the only good game in the list but it depends on what you are looking for.

I've been enjoying myself with it decently enough, and the content updates are not exactly scarce, but this is the kind of game you'd have to come back to every now and then to enjoy the new stuff, and honestly for me that works well because I'd otherwise burn myself out immediately. Personally clocked 17 hours in the game thus far, but then again I've discovered I'm pretty shit at it, but it's thoroughly enjoyable regardless. It was just shit. The writing was stale as fuck, trying desperately to be quippy and instead ended up unfunny and frankly jarring. The animations are abymsal even for Telltale, the illusion of choice wasn't even an illusion this time and of course, the big fight (you know the one) is just a fucking joke from start to finish.
