Favorite Fighting Games?

Soul Cal made me feel like I was controlling actual historical fighters, they all move how they're supposed to move, have the agility and speed they're supposed to have, sound great, their techniques and styles are great, their weapons, perfect. (not saying it was balanced, though, Kilik was bullshit)

it's the only "period" fighter where you get to use weapons from different periods, honestly that is a huge selling point, it NEEDS to be brought back, especially Conquest mode.

I love the character creater, I made some weebshit, which is viable, Devil Jin arches down in attacks, so a small devil jin character can actually not be hit by a lot of horizontal attacks because of it, which I fucking love doing online, then psiple spam only verticals, and the problem with a small devil jin is NO RANGE!

I actually wanna get the vita game, just so I can have soulcalibur on the go, as THE VITA IS A DAMN GOOD PURCHASE!

I like SF4.

My favorite is Blazblue. It was my first fighting game. Uniel is getting up there though, this shit is really good.

Yeah, I didn't buy it, I might though, I just don't like buying characters unless they were say exclusive to another console (like Soulcalibur 4 with vader) or a pre order bonus like Dampieer on Soulcalibur 5

SFIV, in fact, SFIV was my 2D fighting game, in europe tekken always have been more popular than street fighter and street fighter was pretty much dead during the PS2 generation, so my infacy was composed by tekken 4, 5 until i picked SFIV on 2009.

i try to like SFV, but the game this just shitty, i wanted to like it, but is just trash, thank god arc system exist, since revelator i am playing guilty gear and this a much better game and 2D fighter than SFV.

also, i am loving tekken 7, just saying, i hope they made tekken 8 before tag 3, in fact i want tekken x street fighter before tag 3, the tag games are my less favorite tekkens.

Melee a best, but Capcom vs SNK takes a close second. I've always like KoF characters and art assets more than Street Fighter

Soul Calibur 2 was one of the first I spent a lot of time in so it still holds a place in my heart.
I only got back into fighting games a couple years ago but really started to love Guilty Gear.
