SNES games are pretty expensive, so it's worth it to me (Earthbound alone is like $200) & HDMI output is fucking great

They seem to have taken into account some of the feedback from the NES Classic and are trying to improve for this. Maybe the N64 Classic will be even better?

While the library is solid, why the fuck would anyone pay money for this? I already bought shit like Super Metroid on Wii U (let's not forget that was a "selling point" once upon a time), I've owned Mario World twice physically (GBA/SNES), and don't even get me started on Zelda being ported to everything. And there's the fact that emulators exist.

I downloaded a full pack of SNES ROMs last night, took a couple of minutes and now I have every single SNES game ever made perfectly playable with my controller of choice. Why would I spent $80 on such an inferior package?

Would like to get one, but I have all the games on it, minus Star Fox 2, of course. If I don't get one, which is incredibly likely thanks to Reggie and scalpers, I'll just wait for someone to dump this version of SF2's ROM image.

This seems to quash those rumors that they were planning something much more ambitious with the followup to the NES classic. The rumored platform would have been a general purpose emulation/ROMbox that would have come preloaded with a slate of games from multiple platforms, then had a bunch of extras to download at some later date, and this box would have replaced VC functionality on the Switch.

The only games that are on it that I don't already physically own (with the exception of Star Fox 2 obviously, but I don't even care for the first one) are Secret of Mana and Super Punch-Out!! so it's not worth it for me.
