A pretty fun game that gets a nice amount of over-the-top action into it even if it's a little short (but fun to play multiple times)

Top tips for you:
Use a controller/gamepad
To parry, you flick the thumbstick towards an incoming attack and hit the light attack button at the same time
Get offensive defense as your first unlock move as it's your basic dodge move.

That's it really, just play and have fun.

Five hours of hitting the same two or three combos. There's some nice music though.

oh, another couple of neat tricks you can do:

Tap the blade mode button quickly to cancel out of your recovery frames after attacks.
If in blade mode you can hold the Left stick button in and it will let you walk around while still in blade mode.

A really solid Metal gear experience.

It's canon too don't listen to the shitters. It even plays more like a Metal Gear Solid title then V even though it's not a MGS title

Combat is rather simplistic (much easier to master than DMC, would put it on the same level as bayonetta)
But it is fucking satisfying. The "cut" engine is fucking amazing. There is no going back after you play it, every other game in the same style will be missing something.
The presentation is great, the game is quick but replayable.
I sunk over 100 hours on it.
