You've been able to play this in English for years now. You guys are just fucking retarded. It's on the Japanese servers but there were plenty of english speakers when I played. You can play this 100% fine with out understanding Japanese. Every thing is in English. The game sucks any way so stop worrying about it.

The thing that always held me back from the JP version was the idea that this whole game is about grinding to progress your character, and they might make a harder lockout on the JP servers, or they might actually release it in the west and then you'd probably want to start over on the new servers. Too late to give a shit now though.

What's interesting is that we have dragonball xenoverse which is basically the same type of game, a lobby based action game where you do missions, level up, collect abilities and cosmetics, etc, but they've completely failed to capture the replayability that PSO has. It's a real shame.

Monster Hunter is also kind of a similar style of game, really looking forward to XX and MHW
