Just bought this game and am about two hours in.

When can I actually control what my character does instead of watching cutscene after cutscene with the occasional fight in between?

Game designers really need to stop doing shit like this. The first hour or two of a game should be structured like it's the only part of the game the players will ever experience, because there's a good chance it will be. Same with movies, and shows, and pretty much any form of entertainment, if it don't grab the consumer right away, why would they continue with it. I'm not going to eat a mile of shit because there might be cookies behind it.

You'll move your character in the first 30 seconds of gameplay retard.
It takes 6 hours to get to the point where you'll reach the gameplay of time management and life sim persona is known for.

Before then you'll just be learning the basics of combat and having the story begin
