It actually is. The courses are great, there's a lot of variety with the medals and the dlc gets you even more courses and extra characters. There's also the single player story portion of it but it sucks ass imo. Progression is tied to clubs and clothing instead of leveling up your character. Oh and online tournaments were fun.

They're better than ever now that the expert tournaments have started. You don't have the simulation line anymore, and most people have quit playing so you have to actually work for that gold trophy instead of just doing somewhat well and being shuffled into the gold because they sorted it by percentage.

I never played a Monster Hunter. What sort of games are they, and what's the appeal?

System Settings is my top played title of all time from 2015 up until mid 2016 until I switched to proper CFW. It had literally 24/7 playtime because of how Gateway's entrypoint for N3DS worked. the time counter is maxed out at 9999 hours and almost the entire year of 2015 is full of nothing but system settings

It may sound repetitive as hell (and it's repetitive as hell) but it's really fun and addictive. Give it a shot, Anon, you may have a blast with it. Though it can be a bit slow at the beginning.

I think you can find demos for 3U and 4U on the eShop.
