ITT: Game series in which the sequels never topped the first game.

I can see what you mean by the scenarios, but RCT2 bought some objectively good additions like Shift hold building, improved guest AI, Scenario Editor, New rides, andnot having the Lawn Mower option clicked by default for janitors.
RCT2 was basically an addon and I have no problem with that
RCT3 is great and all criticism I've heard about it is bullshit
Planet Coaster is great but there is nothing to do, this game needs scenario editor and ability to import .obj models like in RCTW

Different dev
Maybe I might just have shit taste but for me it's:
OpenRCT2 > RCT2 > Planet Coaster > RCT3 > RCTDeluxe > RCT1 >>> RCT4
I enjoyed RCT3 and Planet Coaster's building mechanics are great, but the creativity you can pull off with RCT2's isometric style is hard to top.

Based Chris was justified in sperging against sandbox casuals who didn't appreciate finely crafted scenarios.
Look at how lazy this scenario is. It's just the mountain tool used over and over.
What? RCT2 was RCT1 with a bunch of fixes and additions. There's no need to playing RTC1 anymore, even more so with OpenRTC2.
RCT3 is also totally fine.

I just want to have both
After you finish with scenarios you're fucked

desu that always bothered me too.
also openRCT2 is some of the most fun i've ever had with /v/
