Jade Empire is currently downloading. What am I in for?

The only RPG i've liked besides Bloodborne. Very funny game, and i liked the combat system. It has some weird shot 'em up mini games.

Some fun/funny gameplay. Helps if you've seen lots of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies.

Besides the Lee and Chan fighting styles, theres also two ham fighting style and drunken master fighting style, etc.

Fun game, predictable plot, game is too short - the last few chapters are abbreviated and rushed, and it's obvious the budget was running out.

Three-way is possible. AFAIK this is the only Bioware game that allows this. Could be wrong though, Bioware went to shit shortly after this game.

More of the similar Bioware formula, but with very basic action combat that tends to drag on as time goes by. Not to say it's a bad game on the whole.

Depends on your definition of "smoking hot," but yes, you can play several varieties of woman. There's even the obligatory lesbian relationship you can uncover although when you get to the big kiss, the game immediately cuts out before the kiss itself, unlike the hetero kiss.

Pity that your allies aren't all that decent. I wouldn't have minded harder enemies if the game boosted your companions as well. Instead you can just power your way through everything with focus+transform. Especially once you unlock Golem Form.

Bioware's last good game. Moral choices are shit, the strong fist is supposed to be the way of the strong, but it's the way of the cowardly asshole most of the time. The story is standard, though it has a very good moment, especially if you pay attention to dialogues throughout. Combat is functional, but repetitive. The devs really nailed the setting and kung-fu movie atmosphere though.

This has been my experience. Until there's a proper patch (read:never) or an HD re-release, your best option is playing it on OG Xbox or 360 (I think it ran alright on 360? Might be wrong on that).

Is there a list of cut content? It's one of my favorite games but I haven't played it in years so I'm genuinely curious. I know two rivers feels kinda lacking in the intro because the villagers all die and I only cared about the guys from the school. I think Kia Min can survive based on a decision but never appears again I'm probably wrong though.
