it would be a dating simulator instead of an action game. 80% of the movie is bland jap police man thingin bout anime girl instead of the bad ass armor scenes that only appear twice in the whole movie.

Its pretty bad like your average B 80s action movie. No saving graces. It has a theme song some people like but thats it. When people were starved for anime it was tossed around a lot.

Red Spectacles really is a strange film, especially when compared to Stray Dog and Jin-Roh. Still really enjoyable for how insane it was, I watched it while I was sick and felt like I was in a fever dream.
