That's the level's aesthetics, level design is more associated with layout, movement flow, and object placement in the level. Pic related is a superb example of which.

Alice Madness returns was such eye candy. It wasn't a shabby game either. RIP any future Alice games though.

>shipwrecked on a beautiful tropical island chatting up hot slut mermaids and shit only to find it is a chain of different islands, some tropical, some desert, some grass lands, one is actually an ancient city in the clouds populated by god looking entities and they are all linked by a maze of portals and caves and the prize at the end is a war horn that beaks down the barriers between different planes of existance
