Why do they limit the number of products they release?
>>381941934
They don't want to have stock left over
They're basically greedy cowards
to create a uproar
>>381941934
they're anti-consumer
>>381941934
Hmmm, to create demands for the said product I suppose.

Having stock left over is a waste of money, how does not wanting to waste money make them greedy?
To guarantee sell outs.
To guarantee artificial hype and easy press.
To make it seem like their brand is more valuable than it actually is.

*an uproar

They don't need to create demand though. The demand is already there.
They love scalpers and hate their own fans.
>>381942203
They would sell them and they know it, they just don't care if some customers have to miss out

So they don't flood the market and have games get lost in the mix? So that 3rd party developers have a chance to sell product? So they aren't known for one game series?
The don't, artificial scarcity is entirely a myth. Demand doesn't begin when the limitation of products starts, it merely decreases it and is a big concern. Companies seek to fulfill demand as soon as possible not postpone it and giving other products the chance to meet their customers needs.
Sort like Apple of Japan. Even their handhelds are released new versions every year and half or so

At this point for the Switch, having less games than fingers on my hands thats not a problem.

>the fact that i can't say there is a fuckton of consoles collecting dust in the magazines makes nintendo cowards

I could go on the eShop, because there are some amazing games on there. Wonderboy: The Dragon's Trap and Fast RMX are great games. Plus a bunch of Japanese games you really don't need to know Japanese for. But you'll just reply to this bit instead of saying anything else.

Good point anon.
Well at least for me I never even want a switch before their lunch. But then I heard that they sold out in the first few days/weeks and /v/ won't stop shit-posting about it. That got me real interested in the console, now I'm saving up to buy it on the holidays.
But I don't know, maybe Nintendo did actually fucked up their manufacturing process and shit. Or maybe even save all the products for all that X-mas money?
Thought everyone knew about this already.
