The morality is only fucked when its out of context. When you live in a world where you can kill someone with your touch if you hate them enough, and you can erase your mistakes at will, it's not that hard to see through

I've only ever used the tranq gun in MGS 1 2 and 3, despite them giving you a plethora of really interesting weapons. I don't know how effective they are but every time I sit down to play a violence run I end up just tranqing everyone and being stealthy.

I couldn't stomach MGS5 because of the open world meme, I tried it and the hospital level was okay but once it was a massive open area I lost interest. That's sad to hear that it doesn't penalize it.

Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden. The better you did, the less resources you were given to complete the harder route as opposed to missing the skill points to get better resources for an easier route.
God Hand. Not necessarily objective-based, but the better you did, the more ramped up future enemies would be as opposed to being hit often for small damage.
Shogun 2. Do well against everyone and all of the armies will declare war on you at once and mess with your relations (Realm Divide).
