Looks better than the first but that's not saying much. Still seems mediocre as fuck. I think the big problem I have with it is that it lacks any kind of real identity. It doesn't have the "spark" of classic PS1/PS2 games like Crash, Ratchet, Jak, etc. Its main gimmick is switching between sizes, which can work (and has worked in other games), but doesn't seem to be executed especially creatively. It's just boring mindless action mixed with the occasional boring mindless platforming. There's no depth or spark to any of it. Now maybe I'll be proven wrong and the later levels are actually masterpieces, but I doubt it.

Not with the right enemy AI, that alone with combination of new moves including a ranged grab and block/party can most likely make later combat sections feel more engaging and satisfying

Idk man some sections I've seen look like above average platforming segments considering knacks movement abilities but I guess we'll see come september
