>that kid that brought yu-gi-oh cards instead of Pokemon cards

>that kid who played the Pokémon Trading Card Game
As hype as Pokemon was for kids in early 2000s, i'm pretty sure Yugioh just barely had it beat as far as cards went.

The Pokemon TCG was o=inaccessible as fuck.
You had to attach some stupid ass energy cards to your monster to attack.
You have to flip a coin several times throughout the game just to see if an attack works.
You have to kill a certain amount of monsters to win instead of just draining your opponent's LP
Does that sound like fun to a 10 year old?

>that friend who continues to play yugimans instead of MTG or PTCG
like of the mainstream card games, you had to pick the one fucking game that's broken on a fundamental level
>>381933459
>those kids that wanted to get everyone's cards and shuffle them
No ty
>>381933459
more like digimon cards, yu-gi-oh wasn't that big at the time
>>381933459
>that group of kids who played with beyblades in the corner of school
Digimon cards>pokemon cards
Show was better, too.

Yes?
I played a coinflips-only deck as a kid and beat adults at tournaments all the time, and it was great.
>that kid who never got anything
>>381935693
I was that kid.

stop wasting my air Justin
This seems to be more /tg/ than /v/, but who gives a fuck.
Never really got into Yugioh, but it always seemed like the people who collected Pokemon cards never played the game TCG, while people into Yugioh actually played the game.
>tried playing Pokemon TCG once
>it's boring as fuck
Real shame given how legendary the cards are
>>381936976
yeah, i didnt know anyone who actually played with their pokemon cards. We just collected em cuz we loved pokemans.
yugioh was a lot easier to play thus kids actually played it.

>he didn't steal his cards
What are you playing guys?
