Legion is probably the best the game has been in a long time.
Most of the people complaining just parrot what they read online and haven't actually done any mythic content.

NO! What's left of the community will laugh at you for not having any Ahead of the Curve raiding feats of strength. Also Legion had the largest amount of dungeon kicks that I have ever seen. People that didn't have enough Artifact Power were instantly kicked. Blizzard allowed a toxic community to become 10x worse.

I hate this meme. You're not missing out on anything by not doing mythic. Adding 1 new mechanic and buffing the HP & Damage done of a boss doesn't make it more fun or interesting. Don't even get me started on mythic+ dungeons. WoW raiding is shit because you can run the same raid 4 times in one week on one character which burns you out real fucking quick. There should just be LFR which is tuned to normal/heroic and Mythic. By doing mythic raids all you get is shit you can show off to faggots that don't even care anymore like an achivement or armor that looks the same as the shit you find in normal/heroic but flashier and a different color.

is the DK rotation any fun to play now? If not what about rogues or DHs? I quit before nighthold because none of the melee classes i tried felt enjoyable to hit button wise.

Both DK specs are pretty based at the moment.
DH is only fun in dungeons with demonic build otherwise you have one of the more boring rotations.
Don't know much about rogues other than sub and ass-ass are top deeps right now.

I've been thinking about it. I bought the FFXIV expansion but I'm not really having much fun.

The new WoW raid would probably be more enjoyable. The only thing holding me back is I hate trying to find new guilds.

I play on a free TBC server with like 10k population called Warmane (outland). it's 5x rate

beware, there are (((queue))) times and it can be frusterating, but if you are american, you can avoid this by just playing later in the evening

It's a lot of fun for me right now since i can't even stand to look at the current state of wow

I bought a 3 month sub, told myself I'd get back into it about 4 days ago.. I've maybe played 2 hours? Don't come back man, it's bad.

Can't stomach this Titanforge Warforge shit.. I raided 7/7 mythic EN when it was current, and watching guilds with 3/7 H getting the same ilvl gear as some of our Mythic raiders, really pissed me off.

They hand gear out to casuals, and now gear means nothing in pvp.. it's fucking over OP.

Tough it out like the rest of us and wait for the next MMORPG...

If you have LITERALLY nothing else to play and or can't fathom the overall style of FFXIV you might as well play WoW.
However WoW for itself sucks and you should avoid it and try playing anything else at any cost.

Are there any games that provide the fun and interesting gameplay that wow arena brings to the table for small teams? Arena is dead/dying on retail but I love the pvp of wow so much.

I really enjoyed Legion but only at the start. Right now, it feels like Cataclysm during the last tier, repetitive, lazy and fucking RNG everywhere.

If you haven't followed the story, its a good 1-2 month worth of content at the moment. Once you get into Broken Shore, it just takes a massive dive. Would honestly suggest just waiting to see what Argus will be like as right now you will burn out fast.

Depends on what you want to do, if you want to raid Mythic then I'd say stay away. The effort required to really do mythic is too much. If you're just gonna pug raid through the premade group finder, note this is not lfr, then it's fine.

For raiding you're pretty much going to spend all your time doing mythic+ dungeons for min maxing your gear, farming to pay for consumables and then brickwalling in the raid because someone's too retarded to not fuck up the easy oneshot mechanic. Mythic can break your interest if people are retards.

Oh and pvp is just plain fucked, don't bother with it.
