There's a user-created addon to AA2 now called AAUnlimited that adds a poser and makes modding the game for individual girls much easier.

If you disliked AA2 before, AAUnlimited won't make you suddenly like it. It does add features, but not ones that completely change the game. IE you can get raped by npcs now, there's a POV function for h-scenes, it allows you to customize your characters a lot more using body sliders and texture/mesh overrides, and it comes with a poser for you to mess with and make cute/stupid/cringey shots.

Yeah it's actually a lot better to just delete everything and start fresh. Just make a copy of your cap/saves folder from both the maker/player directory. You can use the install guide I wrote for myself a while back when I had to install AA2 on a few machines.
