The fondest memories i have from the N64 were Clayfighter 63 1/3 and Hybrid Heaven, dont think those will be included if they ever make one. Would settle for one with Goldeneye but dont think nintendo would get the rights to use the movie license just for this.

It would have like 15 games, and if it has Rare's stuff it will be Goldeneye unless they get to an agreement with MS over Banjo and Conker for DKR.
The biggest selling point imo would be the controller, if it has a better analog without fucked up deadzones it will be amazing, more if it's compatible with actual n64 hardware, N64 Controllers in good condition these days are impossible to find.

The WiiU wasn't released in the fourth generation of games. It was released in the eighth, and it's competition was a console that by design had no exclusives and a console with a tiny handful of exclusives until pretty much after the WiiU died.

None of those games I listed are just random multiplats besides Yakuza really. Every single one of them was developed for the WiiU besides bayonetta 1 and sanic racing. Bayo has exclusive content and so does Sanic Racing.

An N64 mini,considering it won't have the best games on it anyway, and considering how easy emulation is, would really only be interesting if it were a portable.

I feel the same towards the NES and SNES, but those are different from the N64. The N64 isn't looked at as warmly as those systems by most people, and doesn't have nearly as many great games.

I'd buy a N64 mini, but only if it were a portable, ideally the size of a Switch... and I'd only buy it after hackers manage to open it up and make playing other roms possible. Portable Conker's Bad Fur Day and WWF No Mercy is still not possible now but it would be on a system like this.

In both of those lists, the majority of the games didn't even utilize the stupid thing. And games like Star Fox Zero or Color Splash really made good use of that forced control method, right?

Plus the whole point is to have a small, portable collection of games you can plug in anywhere.

If they ever release this, I think they might put the original Animal Crossing on it. It would be easy to do and it would generate hype for being released for the first time outside of Nippon land. Even if it's just the GC game with less content.

I agree a WiiU mini wouldn't really work. Because how do you do eight player smash? 9 player in runbow? I think Nintendoland a few other games needed wiimotes+accessories. Then there's also the question of online servers for more modern consoles eventually getting a mini way down the road.

I'm just saying they have the games to do it. It'd be a logistical nightmare to make it work

I think if they really want to wow the masses though, they should just cut a deal with Microsoft for those Rare titles. I have little doubt Spencer would have issue with that.
