Man. That was the shit. I remember spending hours saving people from floor 60+ with codes on Penny Arcade forums back when it was released.

That was such a nice feature. Made me feel like a big man to be saving other people's games like that.

There should be more Mystery Dungeon-esque games. Shame all we have is Shiren and Pokemon.

If you liked Phantasy Star Online, Phantasy Star Zero is the closest thing to a direct sequel gameplaywise. Great game, unfortunate that Wifi servers were shutdown. If you have friends or can use some unofficial wifi service then you're in for a pretty comfy time.

You fucking idiot. You should'vejust bought a 2DS or 3DS. You could still use DS flashcards on that system, and you get the added benefitof being able to run custom firmware or a 3DS flashcart to run any 3DS game.

In any case, I love my 2DS, but I can't say the same for the DS. That system was terrible and games that I otherwise would've loved, like Dragon Ball Origins and the Zelda games were ruined by Nintendo's obsessive gimmick forcing behavior. You literally can't control DB Origins or the DS Zelda games like you would traditionally. You have to use the stylus stick to do everything from walking to fighting. It's just a hassle and wasn't worth the trouble. I got about 30 DS games free, and liked only one.

The only good DS game and the one I will recommend to you is Dragon Ball Kai Ultimate Butouden with the fan translation patch. It was never released outside of Japan.

You also might be into Jump Ultimate Stars. It's sort of like J Stars Victory for PS3/4/Vita. It's a fighting game with characters from a bunch of different anime shows. I preferred J Stars and didn't like Jump very much. I found the fighting to be slow, clunky and not very fun.
