Why?

I'm pretty sure this means that the game will occasionally reach 6k from time to time, eg. when you're looking at a wall or something. On the pc version there is an option to have a dynamic resolution. You set a desired framerate and when the game goes above that framerate, the resolution increases, and if it goes below that fps the resolution decreases. Just more hype. It really won't make a damn difference.
