I came up with some autistic fanfiction today that Goten takes over from 17 and lives on that island alone protecting the animals. Lives an idyllic hippie lifestyle and never really trains, but the active lifestyle keeps him in shape. Occasionally Goku shows up to hang out and test his strength.

Trunks on the other hand becomes a rich playboy which pisses off Vegeta who threatens to cut off his inheritance if he doesn't maintain his training in the autism sphere with him (in reality it's just Vegeta wanting to spend time with his boy, but he won't admit it.)
