P3 and P4 both got portable versions. So unless Sony goes against all logic and puts out some kind of Vita successor to go toe to toe with the Switch, I don't see any reason as to why this couldn't potentially happen at some point. Nintendo and Atlus have had a relatively good relationship over the years, with their DS/3DS support and even that Fire Emblem/SMT crossover ambominations.

Not a 100% certainty, but at the same time the announcement would be far from shocking.
