I like video games but have a backlog. Playing one system at a time allows for the backlog to be quicker in depleting.

Being a fanboy brings a lot of joy, when they do something good it gets you excited, and you enjoy their games more than you normally should because it's made by your favorite company. You also blindly buy their games, and the more games you try, the more likely you'll find a game you love. Console wars are fun, but you can be a loyal fanboy while also buying other platforms. This is the truth and you know it, being a fanboy feels good.

What is the definition of being "loyal to a company"? Is it buying all of their products regardless of quality? Is it preferring the brand when making decisions?

Obsidian usually make good games, so I'm wIlling to give them the benefit of the doubt and buy their products based on past merit.

Same goes for Blizzard, who while about as far from industry innovators as it gets are still known for a level of polish that most other companies simply can't reach, so when they release a new IP I'll always at least try it, which is why I've been signed up for and participated in every beta they've done for the past decade.

I can only afford 2 consoles and I grew up with nintendo and xboxes. plus xbox wise there isn't much that the xbox has that the ps also has, even though the ps4 is getting games like Detroit:more than human thats still not enough to get me to buy a ps4, I'm already spending enough money on a switch
