They are not unplayable if they're not arcadey, and if they are then they would be 60fps ideally. Buy a pro if you're this concerned but I would more gladly get a good deal on a slim.

I'm personally buying it for R&C, Nier tomato, Rocket League, GR2, Sonic Mania, Horizon, DS, Spidey and various weeb guilty pleasures including PBS and FFXV and other games I can't even recall.

What are you primarily playing now, PC? I'd pick up a PS4, I think there are more then enough exclusives now to justify it and a lot of the Japanese ports on PC are very hit and miss when it comes to quality.

I was supposed to wait for an hardware revision of the pro (worried about power consumption and overheats), but then again I'm mad that I can't run the games in vanilla mode when there's a patch available, as I'm one of those stupid faggots that hate resampling even if in this case it's supposed to help, so I might just get a cheaper slim.

Then again, some games do have a 60fps mode for 1080, some rudimentary boost function, and there's no way TLG runs at 30fps on a normal PS4. Fuck who got this idea of mid life console upgrades.

Right, Yakuza 0 was one of those games I also had to get (probably won't get 6 until I'm more invested). For FPS games, there's some weird ass accessory that remaps DS4 controls to a mini keyboard and mouse, maybe it's what you're looking for but you obviously are going to get that analog acceleration thingamajiggle from the mouse.

Spend like 5 bucks and get a long HDMI cable and hook it up to a TV for that "comfiness". That's what I do when I play a single player game that's better with a gamepad, switch to the TV and sit on the couch.
