Started HZD.

I beat prey. I really, REALLY, liked game game. Though i thought that the alpha typhon really didn't do much for the story. I felt like it could have affected the station in a bigger way, maybe breaking open more areas of the ship, forcing you to use new passages or something. Also the twist ending was not nearly as impactful as bioshock/infinite

overall, 8.5/10 game. Worth 40 off the steam sale, could be better if the ending didn't feel so rushed.

I've been playing Ground Zeroes because I didn't play it before MGSV.

Why did everyone complain that this was too expensive? Did they literally only do the main op once on normal and assume the rest of the content was worthless?

I would argue it's just the opening chapter to MGSV chopped off and sold on its own.
But also, it has fucktons of side content. There's no way you can say this is "just a demo" when I've gotten six hours out of it already without just grinding replays.

It's something else. It's more like an extended vertical slice or some shit.
Calling it a "demo" has the connotation of making it into something solely meant to advertise, which it kinda is, but it advertises by giving you a significant chunk of the actual game.

Again, I think critics and general audiences played the main op once, maybe did a single side op, and then never touched it again and made their decision that way rather than giving it a fair shot.

Which is insanity, they're outright skipping the vast majority of the content and then claiming it's not there at all.
Yeah maybe 100% is too much to ask, but really? Not even doing all the side-ops, which will absolutely get you up to the amount of time I've spent or more? Come on now.
