Monolith Soft are the best world designers in the industry. Their games are eyeporn not through graphics but how alien and interesting their worlds are, combined with the geography.

Also, Takahashi usually knows how to tell a story. Even XCX with its thin main story had some crazy stories happening in its sidequests.
