Gonna repost something i wrote in different thread:
Game was scrapped half in development because it was impossible for them to make separate games, for PC and Consoles and it had to be one game with PC port.
Cut mechanics were:
>TES-like guards where you had to pay a fee and if you didn't only then they attacked you
>Inventory accessible only through horse/chests/boats, Geralt was to be heavily limited in what he can have with himself.
>Using torch in fights
>throwing knives
>Most interesting one IMO: They had a VATS like system that worked similarly to the slow-motion cuts from Metal Gear Rising where you had to aim at certain parts/organs of monsters to trigger effects, make fights easier
>in addition to horse and boat, there was riding a cart
>damaged boats could be repaired in ports
>throwing bomb outside boat for fishing etc.
And it all WORKED in at least one build of the game. We know about those mechanics from journalists, youtubers, celebrities etc. who were shown the non-public demo.

They were clearly afraid to make her just like in books where she is far from being a good girl. She killed a guy just because he bumped into her and made her drop her food, she was doing heavy drugs, a horse made her so horny that she almost let a guy rape her (he died before putting it in) etc.

I think it was supposed to be like in first Witcher where you could only have weapons you will wear because your equipment would not allow you to have more.
Still you can summon Roach anytime so i don't think it would be that bad.
