To each their own I guess. I didn't pick up on the twist at all. But maybe its because I played it all in one go after they gave it on PS+. I imagine if people played it 1 episode at a time they would get spoiled due to theories and stuff online.

The endings were hard for me to decide, I didn't want to give up Chloe or all the people in the Bay. If you care about the endings then I guess you didn't get any emotional attachments from the game, sorry you couldn't have that experience.

The mechanic of time travel in this game is basically denial and avoidance. The final episode is all about acceptance. I think people are too focused on the idea that "none of your choices matter." The point of the game isn't that you spent time doing nothing, its that you spent time making memories and emotional attachments. So if you're the kind of person that can get attached and invested with fictional characters, its worth playing. But if you are not, then it won't resonate with you.

I love these interactive stories, but Life is strange is horrible. They actually had a very good premise but without any of your choices achieving anything its silly.

The one thing telltale does better is having your choices affect something, which last long enough to have effect on you. Life is strange didn't make anything you actually put effort into stick or have any effect on max's fate.

The story makes no sense. Why does Max's powers make a huge fuck everything tornado? Why did Max get her powers in the first place? Why do these fucking college studnets act like they're in highschool?!
The rewind mechanic is misused to really simple to piss easy puzzles and completely pointless when it comes to undoing your choices. Why bother when I could just reload a previous save file?
The characters are unlikable and Max in an unlikable cunt, second in unlikableness only to Chloe.
The lip sync if fuuuuuuuucking awful and they always have these stupid gormless expression on their faces. They have NO facial animation.
The hipster music they overlay scenes are obviously to try and force an emotional respond from the audience but it comes off as boring and misplaced instead.

The whole point of the game is that you can't know how the past influences the future. Max is insecure and didn't even know how long her powers will last. Just what did you expect her to do? Go back in time and win the lottery? Prevent crimes?
