Black & White 1 is an amazing game with so much behind the scenes mechanics.
Black & White 2 was a beautiful game but was missing quite a few features. It felt unfinished.

Black and White 1 is a top 5 game for me. It is so incredibly comfy. It is a shame there is no windows 10 compatible digital download of both the first one + Creature Isle

I think at this point it would be better for an indie dev/studio to make their own Black & White/god game clone. I'm surprised their aren't more out there, screwing with villagers by manipulating your powers, weather, etc. and building cities/conquering rival religions was pretty fun.

After the success of B&W1 they cast their net too wide by trying to work with different satellite studios on 5-6 games at once for 3 different publishers. How about Project Ego? Remember all those amazing dungeons beneath towns? The Will power to fly? How you could marry every NPC like Briar Rose, even though they had their meaningful part in the story? That time trolls wandered into a town and you had to defend it? The Turtle's melee combat was just ridiculous. The final island was just me fucking wrecking the other God's creature repeatedly. Too bad the game has some balance problems in that regard. Even if you manage to beat the enemy creature, it'll still show up at your first town and tornado it 30 seconds after you last beat it.
