I recently went back to play 1 and it did NOT age well. The framework they used from 2 onward aged much better. I love the amount of mobility and interaction you have with the interaction.

That's part of the dynamic. Strictly speaking, Carmelita is not a bad person; she's one of the good guys who upholds the law and doesn't tolerate corruption in her ranks. She's as clean-cut as they come. She's only portrayed as an antagonist because the protagonist is a thief. Yet we know from the record that if their backs are against the wall, they're willing to work together.

In fact, since this is a TV show, there will inevitably be a couple episode specifically dedicated to Carmelita and the workings of Interpol.

If it's 2D, I'd be really happy with the classic comic art style they had going on in 1/2/3. however, if it's CG (and i feel like it's probably gonna be), I hope they throwback the characters to their Sly Cooper 3 or 2 looks, I can see myself still able to get into it if they do.

I don't know about you guys, but I didn't really like the character design in Sly 4, something really didn't sit right with me but I don't remember it being too bad itself. i really do hope they keep to older designs like in >>38179311
