I fucking love this game

>>381784140
Is it good? I like all the GS pardox makes but skipped this mone due to reviews.
>>381784140
DId they fix this game? At lauch it was unplayable and boring.
>>381784140
Why? It's like half a game.
>>381784140
>paradox garbage
Only people here who defend these games are swedes.
>>381785758
a game is a game, you can't say its only a half
>>381785316
They didn't.
>>381784140
>It's a federation Circlejerk declares war on you for no real reason episode
>>381784140
You must be really new to 4X games then
>>381785163
It's basically what would happen if someone went "what if we combined a 4x game with a shitty mobile phone clicker management game".
There's virtually no strategy involved, but there is a shitload of make-work clicking to the point where the game actually forces you to hand off parts of your empire to AI, because there would be too much pointless clicking otherwise.
>>381784140
It sure has fantastic music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq50NrujfC8
>>381785995
It's half-finished and should have been held for three years because what they released a malformed wreck.
Is that better?
Isn't ES_2 better, though?
>>381788965
You can't really compare a real time 4x to a turn based one, but yes.
>>381788965
Lol no
It's not like stellaris is good, but ES2 still can't even compete with games it tried to ripoff like galciv2
>>381788965
Better in what?
They're not even the same genre.
>>381784140
>>381784140
It's pretty god but after 100 hours and a few games you see some cracks. Been with it since release.
Wiz is really pulling it together though. Christ I hope he fixes the shit battles.
>>381785995
>>381785995
Fuck off Henry.
The game is not super deep strategy, I mean if you want turn-based complexity get Civ V.
It's feel like the game's strongest in MP but I haven't had a chance to play MP lately. No idea what the fuck is going on but I get kicked out of lobbies when I try.
>>381784140
Problem with Stellaris is it's basically for people who like Paradox GS' except in space. There are far better space 4X games out there to be spending your time on.
>>381789695
>complexity
>Civ V.
Why people who hate stellaris always have such shitty taste?
Even civ6 vanilla is better game than civ5 with all expacks
>>381790201
>Even civ6 vanilla is better game than civ5 with all expacks
alright alright, no need to exaggerate for effect, anon
>>381790201
Jokes on you fag, I like both Stellaris and Civ V.
Civ V is a 4x, Stellaris is more like Command & Conquer in space with 4x elements.
>>381790736
>Stellaris is more like Command & Conquer in space with 4x elements.
>>381790201
I agree, Civ IV >>> Civ VI >>>>> Civ V as of now
>>381790852
If you're playing pacifist you're not winning
Federation cuck.
>Play hivemind empire
>Watchful regulator awoken and wanted me to sign their treaty
>"Lets see what happens if I sign that shit"
>Now under protected by watcher
>Notice I can still insult others despite Im now a vassal
>Insult everybody
>People declare war on me
>Watcher did all the work and gave me some random planets from war demand
>Hivemind auto pop food xenos
>More wars because -999 genocide penalty with everyone
>-999 still fought for me more
>More planets
>More pop food
Game is funny sometimes.
>>381785316
Nope. Just wait a few more years.
played this at release
did the DLC and patches make it good yet

Is it true that Paradox raised prices ahead of the steam sale?
>>381784224
t. turkslayer
>>381794364
Yeah they pulled some shit in some regions. It was very Jewish.
Google it nigger.
>>381793671
As long as the combat isn't fixed it will remain a boring game past the very early game, and there is no fix to be seen.
>>381794364
For most regions yes. Paradox raised all their game prices.
Their excuse was something about aligning international prices to the US ones completely forgetting about why the prices were different in the first place.
>>381794654
>social justice price hikes
ye gods
>>381794649
Actually if you have Utopia you have some mid to late game Objectives now besides conquer all the things.
It's not the best content and some of the megaprojects are meh, but it's getting there. Hope they get buffed.
>paradox price policy
>>381785163
There's no midgame, no diplomacy, most systems that are there are mediocre.
Combat is doomblobs always, and infact the starter corvette will win against an equal fleet power of fully upgraded ships, and cost far less.
The AI will immediately start hating you unless your civ.ethics mirror perfectly the second your borders touch. And will go to war the second your fleet power dips below theirs.
Battlestations may have been nerfed to uselessness, though I'm not sure if the retarded no-build zone is part of a mod or a basegame change when they already had a big enough one that they could just barely be built within fire support range of one another, and a single station is not a match for ANY doomstack, and the AI will often have multiple.
>>381789621
>0.5x A press
What? How can you have half an A press? That's absurd.
>>381795720
Depending on the quality of the goods I am fine with this pricing as a white man.
But don't tell me I have to pay more all the time, slut.
>>381795720
How to only get female muslim hispandic LGBT customers in a nutshell.
>>381796514
>The AI will immediately start hating you unless your civ.ethics mirror perfectly the second your borders touch
This is hyperbole. Some ethics are never going to get along; if you share one there's a good chance you can diplo unless they're xenophobes. It's pretty hard to get them to like you. I use a policy of re-education through orbital bombardment and "liberation".
>>381784140
Lol sure you do Johan
>>381795720
Just say your a bisexual muslim and you get a solid -50c straight up. Its not like they could fucking dispute you.
>>381784140
Enjoying the base game but i feel really pressured into buying the DLC in game. Which is expensive and hardly on sale ever for more than 10% off.
>>381799373
supposedly you can just change some text in a single file to enable it
