upgraded my 750 to a 1060 6gb for this game and I really liked it.

I stopped playing at the first hide and seek session. Painfully boring movie. It's probably what PT would have been like as well.

Like Amnesia it's really good your first playthrough when you don't know the enemy placements and what's going to happen. The short length and minor reputability really hurt both games.

I totally get that criticism. It's very much a vignette of a game.

Personal experience though, I've beaten it 3 times already. One to fully experience everything. Once to get the speed run achievement. Once on Madhouse mode.

I'll probably play it again in October for the horror theme.

emphasis on environments was similar IMO.

Each room/area is memorable, like in the first few games.

RE7 was a good game so that's understandable. Seeing faggots on /v/ desperately grasp at straws to try to shit on it is hilarious, especially when there are actually geniune flaws like enemy variety and weak endgame. Its far from perfect but a very solid re-imagining of Resident Evil.

Completely agree. RE4 was an alright game, no debating that - but it completely derailed what Resident Evil was all about and then spawned RE5 and RE6. I find it hard to forgive that.
