>emulators are illegal
Aren't they quite specifically legal? I mean the rest of this is retarded, but you can somewhat understand how someone could be this wrong.
>>
>>381769450
>Aren't they quite specifically legal?
No? It's one of those edgy things that's illegal but there's no point going after.

>>
>>381769450
>>381769534
emulators are not illegal in any part of the world
>>
>>381769450
Emulation is legal as long as all of it is reverse engineered, if you have to extract a BIOS or something from the console to run games than that is copyright infringement.
>>
This one always gets me, autism purified.
>>
>>381769634
>onsidering how shit souls is in the first place
It was great tho, what are you on about?
>>
>>381769765
>if you have to extract a BIOS or something from the console to run games than that is copyright infringement.
This is false if you own the console you are extract the bios and you own the games themselves. This is why they can only go after hosting sites and not individuals.

Fun fact, if you have an emulator you can just pop in the game disk to your optical drive and it will run on the emulator like a normal game.
>>
Emulators are 100% legal as long they don't include proprietary code from nintendo or sony etc in it, which is why you generally have to download the bios yourself.

Also if you made emulation illegal, microsoft would instantly murder all the other browsers by arguing that their javascript engines are emulators.

I don't think your fun fact has any truth to it, care to post a source?

Not buying the dlc
>>
>>381770054
literally run CD functions this does not work for every emulator such as mini disk format.
This works for PS1 and PS2 emulators though.
>>
>>381770054
Are you dumb? Where do you think ROMs come from? They're just DVD rips.
>>
>>381770137
Fair enough, I thought getting the game was a little more involved than that though.
>>381770134
So it wouldn't work for GameCube games? What a shame, because that was the system I was hoping for
>>
>>381769774
>reading this "e-mail"
What did they mean by this?
>>
>>381770279
It will work for gamecube if you can find an optical drive for PC that supports that format. This shouldn't be difficult and you might actually have one that does if you still use an optical drive.

The irony that people no longer build there PC with a cd drive is fucking hilarious given it's still useful.
>>
>>381770384
Yeah, I put in a blue ray player/writer a few years ago. I don't think I'll ever have a computer without a disk drive simply because you never know when you'll need one and it's not like they're super expensive or inconvenient to set up
>>
>>381769995
Nice meme.
>>
>>381769450
I will make it legal.

>"91 needed to reach 100"

Does something specific happen at 100 or is it just additional info for the mathematically challenged?
