No, it hasn't. Consoles are cheap as shit. Especially when they launch, they'll typically outperform PCs dollar for dollar. The difference is that one, games look like horseshit on consoles, and two, you're stuck with what you buy for the better part of a decade, and games will only marginally improve. PCs are almost always more expensive until late in the console generation, but will almost always look better than consoles. It is also much easier and more economical to upgrade a PC. I can spend not that much for a mobo and CPU, and get low tier GPU, and play games for not that much. When I want games to look better, I can sell my GPU and buy a better one. At some point I might upgrade my CPU. Eventually I'll probably want to buy a new mobo, at which point I only have to replace my CPU with it, and everything else I can move. I can also still sell my old shit for at least something.

While you're not wrong, I was referring to the extra periodical encounters, the one in red on the clock.

The first encounter (and maybe the second) you could probably take them with sufficient skills. But if you're shooting for a long distance ending/questline, they tend to fuck you over later on. Later on, they also end up spawning as "innocent" animals, so killing them will also get those hippies hunting you down if you survive the encounter with them.

If roleplaying is your thing, then you could probably have a good several dozen hours on the game trying out all the different factions (There is like 20-30 factions each age, and there are 3 ages)

It's the multiplayer where this game really shines.
