I beat the game with Uchigatana and the Shadow Set armor. You can easily roll through everything and then attack him. And if you do not do enough damage, save him for later. There are 3 other lord souls you can do.

Man, this fight really disappointed me. Before I fought them I imagined that the four kings would be actual kings dressed up like Alant, each with a unique set of moves and fight style.

Then in the fight you'd encounter each one in a random order but would have to work out which was which based on how they moved, and finally they'd all come together to fuck your shit up as a team, but perhaps with a shared health pool.

In Dark Souls 2, having poise and getting hit puts you into a "half-stagger" were your movement is temp. reduced but you can still attack (unlike a full stagger). Also while being hit while attacking, with enough poise your attack won't be interrupted.

In Dark Souls 3, it increases hyperarmour on hyperarmoured attacks, so unless you're performing an attack with hyperarmour it doesn't factor. No effect while just idle/moving.

Uhh I dunno but... Who else genuinely prefers Bed of Chaos over 4knots?

Like, Bed of Chaos at least has a bit of creativity and challenge behind it, and can be killed with whatever. But 4king is a retarded DPS race, which is something that really shouldn't be in a souls game which is based around 80% skill and maybe 20% equipment, although it can technically be 100% skill. Maybe it's not the worst boss in the series, but is definitely the worst of DaS1.

The thing that I hate the most about this fight is how it fucks up my sense of distance. There have been so many cases where I could SWEAR that I'm like 1cm away from the dude and when I attack I just can't seem to reach at all. You literally have to be so close to the king that your nose touches him in order to hit. Another thing is that on my dex playthrough on NG+ I can't seem to be doing enough damage since the kings have like double the health, but I can probably fix that with some Gold Pine Resin and Power Within.

It seems to me that people started playing DS in one of two ways, shield reliant or roll reliant. The latter found that DS3 gifted them for their efforts whereas the former get shit on round almost every corner (minus maybe two fights)

-seath was a joke with a suppose to lose fight taked on
-the biggest threat neto gave was the re spawning skeletons during his fight
-four kings are basicly a damage test to see if you got the large ember
-Bed of chaos nothing needs to be said
-gwen easy to parry making him too easy of a final boss
