The gameplay is better than Sky until roughly 2/3 of the way through the first game, and the art style is relatively consistent compared to some seriously off-model portraits in former games. I personally enjoy the soundtrack more than previous games, as well.
That's about all I can say, though, since the writing is a huge step back, the gameplay ultimately revolves around finding your favorite method out of like 10 different ways to horrendously break it, and Elise is probably the worst character in the series bar none.
