EDF 5 is on the way yeah, probably just wait for that. The price isn't that steep considering how much content and playtime the game offers. I bought it on PS4 on release and had a blast, my friend later bought it for me at full price on steam so we could co-op it. Are you a poorfag or something? $30 isn't much, unless you mean it's not much of a discount. I don't know, 40% seems reasonable.

Doom was a purely single player game that had at best 15 hours of content, playing it on the hardest difficulty and finding all the collectible shit without a guide.

EDF is one of the best co-op games ever made with like 200 hours of content.

so you can fight scaled up versions of the same enemies

so you can get higher level versions of the same weapons which function exactly the same but have bigger numbers

The point of the game is to work together with a team of players to succeed against impossible odds. If you're just farming until you have so much armor that it becomes trivial, you're doing it wrong.

Supporting the industry is good, especially good AA japanese games like EDF. Why would you want to pay LESS than $30? Are you trying to bankrupt the developer? Do you not want to see EDF6 getting made or EDF5 getting ported to PC sooner?

And also part of the reason the PC development industry went to shit (actually it pretty much doesn't exist anymore with less than a handful of exceptions). If you want to get PC gaming back to its prime day, without F2P shit, Early Access scams, or Crowdfunded cancer, then start supporting games and stop buying them at only 75% discount. Otherwise you'll keep getting Dota2's, CS:GO's and Hearthstone's - or console ports for most AA and AAA games, since those are mostly supported by console players.

If you want to complete everything you're looking at roughly 500 hours of action packed gameplay including Co-Op.
