Its not, they didn't rebalance the game in anyway for the MGS2 mechanics. The MGS2 mechanics are definitely superior but they made zero effort to change to the game for it. Some boss fights Ocelot in particular are a fucking joke because of it. The tranq gun is also broken as fuck in Twin Snakes and completely trivializes most of the game.

Don't buy chinkshit Wii Classic controllers. They look and feel fantastic, and work perfectly on official Wii software. But for some strange reason, using those controllers causes pretty much every emulator I've tried to crash or otherwise not properly work.

Are you playing GC or a GC emulator? If yes, then are you playing TTYD or F-Zero GX? If you're not, either boot up one of those games or learn how to properly manage your time if you're spending it playing anything other than the system's two masterpiece titles.

Lost kingdoms 2. It s from FromSoft, and it does have a bit of that soul's vibe. 2 is Much better than 1 though, mainly because 1 has a random encounter system with a separate combat map while 2 hasn't.

Wiis are cheap as fuck these days. Just buy one of those, component cables and a Gamecube Controller. You'll have access to emulating every Nintendo console but 64 since 64 emulation is shit plus others combined with native Gamecube and Wii games. Most of the good 64 games got VC too.

recently started emulating Baten Kaitos. Played it as a kid and wanted to experience it again. Emulates well. Once I am finished I finally wanna play Baten Kaitos Origins since I never got around to it before.

There's next to nothing good on the Wii U, the Gamepad is needed for menus/turning the Wii U on whereas you can set the Wii to coldboot into the HBC. Also when I can buy a fully hackable Wii for $22 AUD + a Controller for around $50ish depending vs. A Wii U used for still around $250-$300 + a Mayflash adapter + a Gamecube controller I'd rather just buy the Wii.
