Appears in almost every DB game, the most recent example of this being in the limited Burstlimit roster.
Tien and Yamcha appear together in every game they're in and Tien was soft confirmed by the producer aka her favorite character.
Yamcha is the 3rd human character and a z fighter.
People are actually trying to argue against characters like roshi,yamcha,17,broly and bardock even though these characters are fairly popular and iconic to the series appearing in almost every game.
When these characters are confirmed i will laugh at you bastards.

Piccolo reveal at EVO, he's the single most FGC character they could reveal there, if they plan on doing one. Hoping he has some fun tools in his moveset. Buu's butt-slam looks like it'll be fun for mixup shenanigans, and I hope Piccolo's moveset is full of shit like that.

In terms of moveset potential/style, I'm beyond hype to see my boy Gotenks and what shit he can pull off, it's cool see the variety we get with relatively vanilla characters, I hope they go balls to the walls with his specials.

Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin should be 100% auto-includes. Absolutely no coherent argument can be had to say otherwise. The roster should be 32+, especially in a 3v3 game. If this game has a small roster, hype-train is going to crash heavily.

I personally do not think Beerus should be added over other prominent lore characters in DBZ and that includes the Ginyu Force, Dabura, etc. Most people are fond of DBZ, most people do not even watch Super.
