Better because it's preBB. Reboot still has the problem of 50 million stupid classes, ridiculous damage and the ruined map.

The problem with Royals is that the novelty quickly wears off once you get to 4th job and you begin to realize just how boring and terrible the endgame of preBB is. All the nostalgic stuff is from levels 1-90. As for 120+, it's just the same old 3 daily boss runs (Zakum, Krexel and Horntail) or buying leech from a Bishop at the Skelegons. To make things worse, you can't even fight Horntail unless you HP Wash in the earlier levels, which is extremely time-consuming.

What needs to happen is a new private server: preBB with all the good stuff, no mandatory HP washing, and more endgame content imported from postBB.

SlimeTales tried and failed (mainly because of its retarded staff and dumb mechanics). Orion is the most hyped upcoming server now, but it has even more dumb meme mechanics and even HP washing.

It wasn't always like this, not all classes can do it and it depends on where you train. I know because I played a Bishop, doing bottom Newts you had to pay attention while I just sit back and buff. But when I was doing Himes I had to mob and lure them to my party member so they can just kill it. They literally sit in one end of the map and hold down a button.
In LaTale it's pretty much the same. You go from one end of the map and lure everything and it does need to use more skills to kill everything, like spamming 3-5 skills whereas in MS it's just 1 or 2.

Ever hear of the new source? They implemented it late last year and it broke the game, making it unplayable for several months. They've stabilized it over the last month, but it's still filled with a lot of bugs, most of which disconnect you.

Even then, the main problem with Royals has always been the endgame content and HP washing. It's long overdue to be dethroned.

No one will believe me but:

I was the first player on OdinMS beta. I personally talked with one of the German developers on TeamSpeak the night before they were considering doing a beta. I simply said I thought it was an awesome project and that they should release it, next day it was done.

I was an administrator on the third ever private server ever called MapleGeek. This was shortly after the guy who hosted OdinMS stole the source and opened up LocalMS which was the 2nd server ever and had 1000x rates.

Our server owner, Locolijo, convinced Paul to give us the source code to start our own server and we were the third service we ever with 4x rates on the weekdays and 8x on the weekends. A little while later the OdinMS developers released the source code and got sued into oblivion. We had about 60000 forum users after pruning and about 300 people online around the clock. We shutdown because of some drama with Locolijo and the other owner, who was a girl he had been dating for years, but it turns out he is actually gay. He impregnated her, left her, got with a guy and she moved across the country to start a new career and life.

Those were the best times of my life.

Nah, it was. Cold Beam and Thunderbolt gave them huge versatility in second job, and Ice Strike was a lot faster than Explosion.

Royals is dead. The only reason it's on top of the gtop100 is because they're votebotting. There aren't anywhere near enough people online for those to be legit votes, and it doesn't make sense for their vote rate to increase when the server is broken.

Legends is better than Royals in every single way now. More stable, better programmers, more content (has Malaysia) and the population is increasing drastically. If you need a preBB private server, just go there.

Guys, I can't play anymore. Whenever I launch the game, the nexon security pops up,, then nothing happens for a few minutes, and the play button appears again. Every time I click that play button it repeats. Security pops up, the launcher tells me I'm already in game, then the play button appears again and it repeats. Does anyone else have this problem?
