Limited possibilities.
A.K.A. Shit gets old.
I think it'll get more popular as more characters and content get introduced. It's pretty bare bones right now.

It doesn't have much staying power and gets old fast.

>tfw this is modern gaming
I might as well just not buy anything until the end of the cycle. Then again, multiplayer would be on its way out by then. Just can't win

Eh, it looks really fun. Just not $59.99 fun. I'm just waiting until it's $59.99 fun.
Splatoon 2 on the other hand...

/v/ shitposts too much and people are busy actually playing the game. If you want discussion there's always /vg/, the actual video game board.

I think you'll find dynamic multiplayer virtual experiences are the future of gaming, isolated single player packages are encouraging hours and hours of separation from social interaction, which entail heavily negative side effects on the psyche, we're social animals after all.
Single player games were just the limitation of the industry as it was growing, but the more they refine and learn about the effects of gaming, the more they will learn that single player games only hurt their audience in the long run.
It doesn't have enough single players shits and giggles content for casuals and it's not deep enough for competitive players.
Should have waited for pokken DX, at least it fulfills the latter, despite what capcbro shitposters might tell you
>playing against a friend
>get to Bayblade park
>take a 3rd of his health, then he just stands there
>messages me "kill me, I hate this stage and forgot to ban it, I do the same in ranked too"
>didn't even know you could ban stages
I partially think he did that since he knew I was going to beat himon my home turf

Because Sony is bleeding, and that makes them the winner.

Splatoon and Smash will kill this game even more.
