I have it. It is alright but I wouldn't tell you to buy it. I keep getting messages saying that the game is obsolete and that unless the company patches it, it won't work with future versions of the OS. Or something like that.

DDS is actually a great entry point for newcomers since it's a lot more casual friendly and you don't need to worry over too many mechanics or juggling recruitable monsters, you just stick to your main party because they can be literally everything

SMT 1 and 2 are pretty rudimentary and play quite differently from the popular games that the series is known for nowadays
once you get those expectations out of the way, go ahead. it's definitely worth it.
