Difficulty progression was all out of whack, with either you steamrolling everything or everything packing super armor, depending on if you played as normal or hard.
Flanderized most of the cast half the time, although second half of the story was pretty good.

Senran Kagura Burst on 3DS (or the Senran Anime) introduces the characters. The timeline then splits. The Vita/PC games time skip 6 months after the events of Burst and introduce two other schools. They fight each other then learn about Yoma. Afterwards they have a cooking battle, then get pulled into a battle royale, and then get into a water gun fight. This is the 5th anniversary website. In the background are charcter animations for Yumi, Asuka, Renka, Naraku, and Kagura. Yumi, Naraku, and Kagura are already confirmed SK7 due to being in the teaser. Yagyuu, Hibari, Ayame were in it so Asuka must be as well. Renka and them are friends with Kagura and reunited with her in PBS, so it's not a stretch to say they'll show up if she is in. Homura and Miyabi are not in the website at all nor are they alluded to in the teaser. Ryobi and Ryona are in the teaser but as gessen students. That's either flashback, them going back to gessen, etc. But if this website is a hint, it's probable that those teams arent playable. It's also possible that the makers of the website just forgot about them though for whatever reason.

But I hope they arent in SK7 because I dont want the same tropes and spread screentime.

You have to set your account as a "Primary PS4" account (I think you can do it from the store) since this lets everyone on the PS4 share the content another account downloaded. What we mean by JP account is you need to make a brand new PSN log in with the region and address (Just pick a McD's or something) matching a Japanese one. It'll switch the sign up instructions to Japanese which you work through, and then verify your e-mail. Then just go to your PS4, add a new account, sign into the JP account you just made, and set it as a primary account for your PS4. Then anything you download on the PS4 with that account will also work for everyone else (Avatars excluded, they're the only things locked to the account that downloaded them).

If you like beat-em-ups explicitly then no. If you like action games in general and playable framerates then generally yes though I think the difficulty level was at its most consistently adequate on Burst. That said, story and characterization generally take a hit in the sequels. SK2 isn't TOO bad about it in most instances but the Versus games more than double the cast and everyone gets flanderized to hell for it.
