Make a target key for "nearest enemy", it helps a lot instead of randomly picking up someone.

Constant map awareness is very important.
Seeing someone coming on the side, knowing your teammates positions and never overextend help a lot.

He was hired by some jackass and will occasionally demand money from his employer before performing attacks, who will then throw piles of gold coins around the room. You have to pick them up before his dog does. The more money he collects, the more damage his attack deals.
He also fucks off after the fight so we might see him again.
I admit it might have been cool to instead have him be a primal summoned by the catfish since they seem obsessed with money, too. Then again, they'd have to then feed him both money and crystals.

like level 50 ilvl 55 was what, 3000hp for melee DPS? Level 50 ilvl 135 was around 7000hp. Level 60 ilvl 160 was only ~11,000 while ilvl 270 is 22-23,000. Right now we're just breaking 30,000hp but by 4.5 we could be seeing 60,000hp DPS.

SAM will run dry on TP pretty quickly for sustained AoE encounters.
You can alleviate it a little bit by substituting Gekko/Kasha for Mangetsu/Ouka for each Tenka Goken but that's less damage output.

Who do you usually commend after a duty ? I mostly give them out randomly myself when I don't forget.

Limitations are what define the job. If everyone was buffed to Scholar's old level then you'd never have to even think about healing again. Nerfs are a necessary part of balance.

SCH got hit a bit too hard but not as bad as the complainers would have you believe. Their MP costs are a bit too high given their reduced regeneration, and the fairy gauge replenishes too slowly. That's about it.

The bigger problem right now is AST. They are so fucking overbuffed that it's making the other healers look like shit by comparison.

To be fair, not every tank necessarily know how SAM works yet, especially if you get "Low Level" content, make sure to actually request big pulls and you will probably get them, Tanks will generally cater their pulls to the Healers capabilities first and foremost though, for obvious reasons seeing how that if a healer is bad even Mitigation isn't enough to survive tanking BIG pulls for long.

Ehhhhh So far SB has been pretty lackluster.

Barring all the EA bullshit.

The story is way too flowery. GOOD PREVAILS AND NOTHING OF VALUE WAS LOST ON THE SIDE OF GOOD! The only reason HW's story wasn't complete ass is because SE wasn't afraid to kill off some characters in order to raise the stakes. We take down a 20 year iron fist rule like it was nothing.

The first dungeon was alright. Nice atmosphere, and whatever.
Second Dungeon was a stand out. But it's also the only good dungeon gear set in the entire expansion...and it's pretty much slutglam. The bosses are obnoxious though.
Third just points out how shitty people are at dodging, even when there's nothing else happening. You can lock out 3/4 of the team and still pass.
4th is ass. The only nice thing about it is the throwback to Cyan.
5 Could have been great. Dropped the ball with extremely lackluster fights.
The 70 Dungeons are all pretty much ass. The last boss in the Fist is at least interesting. But I swear it's the longest one, and not worth redoing.

Susano is a shitty Ravana. The fight is less exciting, less "difficult", and less entertaining.

Lakshmi was my favorite thing about the Expansion. And it's still pretty lackluster. I'm in the minority who like the theme though.

Zone music is better than HW at least.

Honestly, I could give a shit about people crying about the job changes. SCH's crying because WAH WAH WE USED TO BE SO OP, NOW WE'RE JUST LACKLUSTER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Quit bitching. DRK same. You're not bad. You're mediocre now. Join the club. MNK by far got it the worst, but it's not like there was a reason to play MNK in the first place. They weren't good to begin with, and they're worse now. The only thing I'm looking forward to, is SE overcompensating, and overbuffing MNK; then we'll get to watch all these faggots who bashed monk for years running to it because now it's "meta" because Angered said so.

All in All: 6/10. Wasn't worth the bullshit from EA.

Shinryu is not very hard at all, he just has a lot of different abilities and does a fair bit of damage. He's definitely a lot harder than Thordan normal though which was basically impossible to fail.

Shinryu EX will probably be crazy. In the normal mode only one wing at a time attacks, but I suspect that in EX both wings will cast different shit at the same time and you'll have to react based on what combination is used, while Shinryu himself is also doing shit.
